Please be aware the Conwy Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday 18th November

There will be some planned road closures for the event as mentioned below, however, please be aware that the Great Orme is open to traffic and you must listen to marshals as vehicles have the right of way. When crossing a road please listen to marshal instructions on crossing points and keep on the Left at all times unless instructed different.

Although the majority of the road heading into Llandudno will be closed, please be aware that we must maintain access to residents and emergency vehicles, it is your responsibility to stop for a car approaching a junction.

06:30am – 15:00pm Conwy Quayside

9am-10.30pm, Conwy Road, Conwy (the cob) & will reopen as a one way out of Conwy from 10.30

06:30am – 3pm A546 from the Weekly news roundabout through to Deganwy, Great Ormes Rd, Abbey Rd in the direction of Llandudno, The A546 from Llandudno will be unaffected, but delays are expected. Please use an alternative route where possible


06:30am-2pm, Church Walks


Roads will be reopened on a rolling basis as runners go through each section closed off,all roads will be re-opened by 3pm

Due to severe wind and rain expected over the next couple of weeks any bunkers which are deemed unplayable will be marked as ground under repair. Next week the greens staff will be carry out aeration work on the greens, fairways and tees this will help relieve compaction and encourage root growth which will improve the playing surfaces for the forthcoming year.
